My first time in print!

I was absolutely thrilled to receive notification this week that one of my colour pencil portraits has been selected for inclusion in Ann Kullberg's CP Hidden Treasures publication - Volume 4. I entered a couple of pictures for inclusion in the next CP Treasures book but out of over 880 entries, I didn't make the cut (there are only 120 spaces). However, to celebrate the breadth and quality of submission entries - CP Hidden Treasures features a further selection of around 120 or so coloured pencil artworks from around the world.

This is the first time I've entered any pieces for publication since I started working with colour pencils just over a year ago. I am so pleased to have made it into CP Hidden Treasures - and look forward to seeing all of my fellow UKCPS members' work in both this publication and the CP Treasures book. I think CP Hidden Treasures Volume 4 is due to be published by the end of the year - I will be first in the queue to get my hands on a copy!
